Briefing - February

The month of February is set to bring some interesting changes. The overall vision and theme for the month is to increase creativity and chart a course for new music. After a long discussion with a good friend of mine, it's decided that new music is needed... and soon.

I've spent the past year working on the business end of things, expanding our marketing, traveling frequently and working to generate new business for private events... all while watching my creativity suffer.

In June of 2022 I hired a Director of Private Events... her name is Kristen and she is absolutely crushing it... Kristen has brought significant value to the group and her presence is now allowing me to step back from the nitty gritty of contracts and private event logistics to focus on the most important thing... the music.

February brings private event performances across the state of Texas as I will be performing for corporate destination events in Austin and San Antonio. These types of events place me in unique venues in front of intimate crowds eager to hear original songs and stories... the very shows every artist works for.

As I look forward to these live performances my mind wanders into creative spaces... thinking of new songs to write and perform, new stories to tell...

This month I will be putting an emphasis on song writing, story telling and getting back to the basics. I have four new songs I'm working on and I want to share the unreleased track names with you exclusively here in "briefings"... take a look below 👇🏼

My focus is to complete the writing of these four songs this month and prep them for studio time in March and April.

Outside of the songwriting, February is a big month for releases...

I have been developing an APP for the past several years that encapsulates all that I do and gathers all of us together without the noise of the outside world. This APP is designed to bridge the gap between you and I... to share more intimately our journey, our travels, our friends and much more. This month marks the release of this new APP and I couldn't be more excited about it.

On top of the APP release we are revealing, for the first time our new tour bus named Apollo. An enduring renovation project in the making for the past few years, this new bus is our home on wheels as we venture across America. You can find all things related to bus life under the "apollo" tab in the APP.

Outside of all this I was approached by Yes Theory and Seek Discomfort, a brand that I have been a huge fan of over the years. With their millions of followers their message is simple... seek discomfort. I have fully adopted this message into my own life and these guys have surly impacted the course of my life with their message. They recently took note of our music and what we are doing and they sent me this note along with some killer merch...
